:::JEAN PAUL GAULTIER:::

Jean Paul Gaultier, enfant terrible of fashion, was inspired for this ultra-feminine, voluptuous love potion from the jars, powder pots and nail varnish vials on his beloved grandmother’s dresser. Thankfully the sweet, naughty, vanilla-rich floriental fragrance with its rum-like top notes smells nothing like the stuff we put on our nails! Instead it’s a come-hither call with powdery florals that diffuse their magic for hours on end. Wear it in the evenings when its message can be better appreciated. To celebrate his couture roots, Gaultier paid homage via the dummy bottle to legendary designer Elsa Schiaparelli’s seamstress torso flacon for her Schocking perfume. The bottle is further encased in a tin-can which is “sliced” into bracelets and the whole packaged in a box reminiscent of cargo. Groovy!
Created: 1993 Type: Oriental - Floral
Notes Top Note: Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange Blossom Middle Note: Tuberose, Jasmine, Ginger, Ylang-Ylang Base Note: Cedar, Amber, Vanilla, Cinnamon
Recommended Use Casual

Gaultier's classic perfume receives a successor based on gentle orange blossom lying on woody accords. Fragrance Classique X was inspired by Gaultier's collection autumn/winter 2009/10 and was created of glittering, sexy and sophisticated nuances.
Classique X is available as 50 and 100ml edt, in flacons made of matt glass with a transparent X stretching over body of the flacon, while its outer carton is coloured in black with beige details and logo of the brand.
Neck of the flacon features an X pendant. The fragrance has been available since January 2010. Jacques Cavallier is the perfumer.

Voluptuous, curvaceous, sensual...

Warm, sensual, masculine...

Le Male by the design house of Jean Paul Gaultier is a sharp oriental-woody fragrance that lends no air to subtlety. Introductory notes feature strong mint with touches of artemisia, bergamot and cardamom; a rich heart quickly seeps in with lavender, orange blossom, cinnamon and cumin before revealing the ultra-masculine base of wood, musk, amber and vanilla. Launched in 1995.
Notes Top Note: Mint, Lavender, Bergamot Middle Note: Cinnamom, Cumin, Orange Blossom Base Note: Vanilla, Tonka, Sandal, Cedar

A different fragrance, a new dimension...

This utterly novel, totally charming masculine scent is part of a new crop of fragrances that utilize unexpected arpeggios, mainly of orange blossom accords, into creating soft, soapy clean and convincingly modern colognes that are easy to put on any time and easy to love year round. The surprising, starched, almost powdery and hay-like, lightly sweet heart chord mischievously plays on the theme of the aromatic "fougère" genre (the classic ferny masculine cologne) injecting gentle floral nuances and the subtly bitter complimentary petit-grain, an ingredient steam distilled from the twigs and leaves of the bitter orange tree. The cologne's androgynous quality is a knowing wink from the designer who has given us another sweet fougère for men, composed by the same perfumer, the multitalented Francis Kurkdjian, Le Mâle. In tune with that fact, the playful name, Fleur du Mâle, is of course a wordplay on the previous above-mentioned best-seller and Baudelaire's famous poems collections "Les Fleurs du Mal" (Flowers of Evil). Encased in the same torso bottle but this time in opaque, milky white. Ladies, you might want to snitch this one off the shelf of your boyfriend or spouse as well, it's terrific on women's skin too!

Created: 2007 Type: Aromatic Fougere
Notes Top Note: Petitgrain Middle Note: Orange Blossom, Fern Accord Base Note: Coumarin
